When we find ourselves in need of cash there are a few places we can go to get the help required. But when we had built up a bad credit rating over a years of mishandling of our financial situation you will find that its much harder to get what you need. The banks on the high street where you would usually ask for credit are not willing to hand over their cash to a consumer unless they have a high probability of getting it back, with interest. If you aren’t on their good list you are going to have to find another place to get your fast cash.
Thankfully there are many places you can approach who are all too willing to hand out cash to all and sundry, but they do so with their own financial well being in mind so you have to be aware of how they work before taking one out.
Payday loans are the most popular of these products but there are others that can be used. Payday loans are only available for very small amounts and have to be repaid in a few weeks at the most so they are not going to be of much use when you need a substantial amount of cash.
When a larger amount is required you have the option of using the logbook loan, which is a secured loan using your car as collateral. These can be taken out for an amount which will be worth roughly half the value of your vehicle, and you can repay over a long period of time, often up to 18 months.
The problem with all bad credit loans is that they charge high interest rates so they aren’t exactly the cheapest way to get your hands on cash, although sometimes you might not have any choice but to use them. If you are forced into this situation then just make sure that you can make all your repayments on time so that you don’t incur any large charges, or in the case of logbook loans, lose your car.
